MEDIEVAL
GIRONA AND THE SALVADOR DALI MUSEUM IN FIGUERAS
6th July 2004
Just
100 km north of Barcelona is the enchanting city of Girona. This city
has the oldest and best preserved Jewish Quarter of any city outside
of Israel. Also worth visiting is the cathedral which houses the unique
'Tapestry of the Creation'.
From Girona it is just a short drive to Figueras and the Dali Museum.
Can you imagine a museum that looks like a giant hen that has just laid
some enormous eggs? Or a convertible Cadillac inside of which it actually
rains? These are just two of the weird and wonderful exhibits you can
find at the Dali Museum.
