PASSPORTS AND VISAS

Citizens from European Union countries, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, and the US can stay for a period of up to 90 days with a valid passport without a visa. Citizens of South Africa are among the nationalities who do need a visa to enter Spain, and this can be obtained from the Spanish Embassy in those countries. If you are in doubt as to whether you need a visa to enter the country, you should contact the Spanish Embassy in your home country.
